As mentioned, adult skincare is formulated for adult skin concerns - ageing, pigmentation, cell turnover. Many adult products contain retinols, exfoliating acids and high strength actives that can damage a still developing teen barrier. Plus it's starts them off on an unnecessarily expensive skincare habit!
